Responsibilities Tasks Establish methods to ensure compliance with work schedules Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and distribute food Provide staff training on their tasks, hygiene and safety standards Hire food service personnel Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Address customer complaints and respond to their concerns Write and submit reports Supervise and verify the delivery of food trays Establish work schedules Supervise staff or work team Make cash register entries and complete balance sheets, cash statements and supporting documents Resolve problems that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Provide customer service Direct individuals or give them instructions Train employees/workers on tasks, safety measures and company policies Plan and organize daily operations Motivate staff Supervisors' functions and activities Counter servers and food preparers in food services Kitchen helpers and food service assistants People with various responsibilities
