Interpret plans, maps, drawings and specifications to anticipate methods or sequences of operations
Operate heavy equipment

Clean and lubricate machines and fill machine reservoirs

Operate computer-controlled equipment
Understand the purpose, appropriate use and information contained in safety data sheets (SDS)
Record information in logbooks and other registers
Perform pre-use inspections of machines
Write accident reports
Attach special work tools to machines
Use a global positioning system (GPS) and other navigation equipment
