Responsibilities Tasks Install and service heating systems Install ventilation, air treatment and air conditioning systems Measure and determine reference points for installation Troubleshoot heating systems Troubleshoot ventilation, air treatment, refrigeration and air conditioning systems Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components Supervise apprentices and train them in the trade Measure and cut pipes and connect them by welding or brazing Provide customer service Start up installations and perform leak tests using testing equipment Perform maintenance work such as refrigerant top-ups, check and test regulators or calibrate the system Handle, recover and store refrigerants Repair and replace parts and complete refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation installations, including heat pump heating systems Additional Information Transportation and Travel Information Valid driver's license Vehicle provided by employer Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Attention to detail Possess tools and equipment Tools Steel-toed shoes or boots Personal Qualities Punctuality Excellent oral communication Initiative Reliable Benefits Health Benefits Dental care plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial Benefits Fuel paid Tips Life insurance
