Responsibilities
Tasks
Assess child development to prepare a learning plan adapted to their needs
Assist colleagues with housekeeping and culinary tasks
Prepare and implement early childhood education programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Maintain daycare equipment

Synthesize the child's overall situation and communicate information to parents
Help early childhood educators implement programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Lead children's activities by telling them stories, teaching them songs and taking them to places of interest in the region
Help early childhood educators and supervisors maintain records
Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
Involve children in activities by telling them stories, teaching them songs and preparing crafts
Guide and help children develop good habits for meals, hygiene and dressing
Prepare and serve snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and naps
Observe children to detect learning difficulties or behavioral disorders and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
Provide early childhood educators and supervisors with written observations about children
Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and issues
Knowledge of licensing regulations
Establish behavior rules
