Responsibilities Tasks Arrange bar space to create attractive displays Organize the operation of a bar or cocktail bar Short-order cook Clean bar counters and wash glasses Serve food or snacks Clean the draft beer system Hire and fire staff Provide wine advice Train staff Collect payment in cash, by credit card or debit card or other means for beverages sold Operate video lottery machine Record and calculate total beverage sales Store beverages and food products Resolve customer complaints and address their concerns Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages Take orders from servers at tables or directly from customers Resolve conflict situations Additional Information Safety and Security Criminal background check Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Environment where activities take place at a fast pace Physically demanding Standing for long periods Personal Qualities Customer-focused attitude Excellent oral communication Teamwork spirit Positive attitude
