Work Environment At heights Noisy Dusty Dangerous Outdoors Various work locations Responsibilities Tasks Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt and gravel Install or replace asphalt, wood and split shingles and tiles in clay products or terracotta on sloped roof building coverings Install tiles on sloped roofs of buildings Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomers or other asphaltic compositions Repair or replace shingles on sloped roofs of buildings Repair or replace a single-ply roofing system Repair roofing systems Apply waterproof coatings to concrete and other masonry surfaces below or above ground level Install and repair metal roofs using hand and mechanical tools Assemble scaffolding and other work platforms Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt Asphalt and scrape asphalt Additional Information Work conditions and physical abilities Environment where activities take place at a fast pace Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Eye-hand coordination Handling heavy loads High work volume Repetitive tasks Working under pressure Possess tools and equipment Steel-toed shoes or boots Safety glasses Benefits Health benefits Dental care plan Disability benefits Health care plan Coverage for paramedical services Vision care benefits Financial benefits According to collective agreement
