Responsibilities Tasks - Operate automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products - Professionalism in customer service - Collect payment for delivered items - Receive and transmit information to central dispatcher - Assemble and install merchandise or products - Maintain a record of items received and delivered - Prepare, pack and restock merchandise - Load and unload merchandise - Sort parcels for delivery - Follow directions and read a map - Use road maps and other travel planning aids - Record travel information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and problems encountered - Provide customer service - Inspect trucks before, during and after trips and monitor all aspects of vehicles Additional Information Weight Handled Up to 23 kg (50 lb) Own tools and equipment Steel-toed shoes or boots
