Responsibilities Tasks Assess child development in order to prepare a learning plan adapted to their needs Prepare and implement early childhood education programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children Narration Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers Synthesize the child's overall situation and communicate information to parents Lead children's activities by telling them stories, teaching them songs and taking them to places of interest in the region Assist early childhood educators and supervisors in maintaining records Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity Guide and assist children so that they develop good habits for meals, hygiene and dressing Observe children in order to identify learning difficulties or behavioral disorders, and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor Provide early childhood educators and supervisors with written observations on children Knowledge of regulations concerning licenses Establish rules for behavior Establish relationships with colleagues and other community service providers for children and collaborate with them Plan and maintain an environment that protects children's health, safety and well-being Qualifications Qualifications (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Certificate in early childhood education assistant Certificate in First Aid Certificate in CPR
