Responsibilities Tasks Transport clean dishes, utensils and other items to service areas and set tables Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Fill bins and trays used to clear tables Operate a dishwasher to wash dishes, glasses and utensils Store dishes in designated locations Disinfect dishes and other items and hand wash them Wrap takeout food Divide food into portions and wrap them Prepare and heat simple dishes Serve food to customers at the counter or buffet table Take customer orders Clean and disinfect the kitchen, workstations, cabinets, storage areas and equipment Receive, unpack and store provisions in refrigerators, freezers, cabinets and other storage Dispose of waste and garbage and empty trash bins Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
