Tasks
Interpret welding instructions
Operate fully automated manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
Read and interpret plans, welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and procedures
Inspect welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
Operate manual or semi-automatic flame cutting equipment
Operate presses, shears and other metal forming machines and metal straightening and bending machines
Adjust metal parts, straighten them with a torch and braze
Operate oxyarc cutting equipment, AOC process
Determine weldability of materials
