Who is Alex?
Alex is 2AF's AI agent. He reviews your resume, runs a short pre-qualification interview of about 5 minutes, then sends your application to the recruiter with a clear report.
What Alex does for you
- He reads your resumeAs a PDF, a Word file or a photo taken with your phone. He picks out your skills, experience and education.
- He runs a quick interviewA few questions tailored to the job: experience, availability, language, work permit. About 5 minutes.
- He prepares your applicationThe recruiter receives your profile with an evaluation report. Without a specific job, Alex points you to the jobs that fit you.
How it works
- 1Create your accountAn email address and a password are all you need. Alex then asks for your consent to use your information.
- 2Share your resumeIt may already be in your profile; if not, attach it right in the conversation.
- 3Answer AlexWrite as you would to a recruiter. There are no trick questions: just be specific.
- 4ApplyOnce the interview is done, send your application from the job page, then track its status in your account.
Your data
Alex only starts once you give explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Data used
- Your target job, experience and skills. Your name, email and contact details are never sent to an outside service.
- Hosting
- Data stored encrypted on our servers in Canada. An anonymous identifier is sent to an AI service in the United States.
- Retention
- Conversations: 90 days. Evaluation reports: 2 years. You can delete them at any time.
- Your rights
- Access, correction, deletion and withdrawal of consent, from your candidate account settings.

Do I have to go through Alex to apply?
Yes. At 2AF, every application starts with the interview with Alex. The recruiter gets a pre-qualified profile, and your application is handled faster.
How long does the interview take?
About 5 minutes. You can answer at your own pace.
Which languages can I use with Alex?
English or French. For French, use the French version of the site.
Which resume formats are accepted?
PDF, Word (.doc, .docx) or a photo (JPG, PNG, WEBP), up to 5 MB.
Does Alex decide whether I get hired?
No. Alex prepares a report to help the recruiter; the decision belongs to the employer and the 2AF team. Like any AI tool, Alex can make mistakes: if something looks wrong, let us know.
