Work Environment Dusty Noisy Responsibilities Tasks Estimate repair costs based on damage assessment report Inspect repaired vehicles Plan repair work to be performed Conduct test drives of vehicles to ensure proper road handling Clean and maintain work space Replace front-end and body elements of automobiles, doors, chassis and undercarriage elements File, grind and sand surfaces to be repaired Mask and tape automotive surfaces in preparation for painting Unbend body elements using wooden blocks and hammers Remove damaged bumpers, panels and grilles and bolt or weld replacement parts in place Apply primer paints and repaint surfaces Repair or replace interior elements Mix paint and match colors Experience and Specialization Field of Specialization Accident vehicle repair Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Personal Qualities Precise Reliable Team spirit
