Responsibilities Tasks Install electrical wiring, outlets, switchboxes, conduits, raceways, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Maintain industrial instruments and related devices Replace or repair electrical components Conduct testing of electrical and electronic equipment and components to verify continuity, current, voltage and resistance Maintain, repair, install and test disconnect devices, transformers, distribution panel meters, regulators and reactors Troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical and electronic industrial control systems and other related devices Execute preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records Read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans and electrical code specification drawings to determine the location of industrial electrical equipment
