Responsibilities Tasks: Plan or modify routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) or other navigation devices to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions; Professional customer service; Monitor vehicle condition and perform inspection of tires, lights, brakes, refrigerated storage equipment and other equipment; Inspect trucks before, during and after travel and monitor all aspects of vehicles; Receive and transmit information to central dispatcher
Credentials: Qualifications (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Category AZ driver's license
Experience and Specialization: Documentary Knowledge: Accident and incident reports; Bill of lading; Inspection reports (pre-departure, en route and post-journey); Maintenance and repair reports; Cross-border documents; Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer; Communication Systems Experience: Use of global positioning system (GPS) and other navigation equipment; Travel/Transportation Experience: Long distance
