Responsibilities Tasks Prepare and implement early childhood education programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional and social development Maintain childcare equipment Direct children's activities by telling them stories, teaching them songs and taking them to places of interest in the region Assist early childhood educators and supervisors in maintaining records Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity Engage children in activities by telling them stories, teaching them songs and preparing crafts Guide and help children develop good habits for meals, hygiene and dressing Establish relationships with colleagues and other community service providers for children and collaborate with them Plan and maintain an environment that protects children's health, safety and well-being Plan and organize activities for school-aged children participating in before and after school care programs Supervisory Functions and Activities 1 to 2 person(s)
Qualifications Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Anaphylaxis and food allergies training Training on principles of healthy child development (HIGH FIVE) Member of the Ordre des éducatrices et des éducateurs de la petite enfance (OEPE) First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate
