Responsibilities Tasks
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, hollow clay tiles and other similar materials
- Estimate materials, tools and equipment necessary for projects
- Create wall facings or other surfaces in brick, stone or other similar materials
- Build and install structures from prefabricated masonry elements
- Build terraces, small walls or other decorative structures
- Read sketches and plans to calculate required materials
- Cut and shape bricks and concrete blocks according to specifications, using manual and power tools
- Build fireplaces and masonry hearths in commercial or residential buildings
- Build factory chimney casings in radial bricks
- Renovate, clean or paint existing structures
