Responsibilities Tasks Clean and disinfect items such as mesh strainers, carts and dishwasher waste grinders Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Divide food into portions and wrap them Serve food to customers at the counter or buffet table Take customer orders Clean and disinfect the kitchen, work stations, cabinets, storage areas and equipment Handle cleaning products and store them Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cabinets and other storage areas Remove waste and garbage and empty trash bins Sweep, wipe, wash, wax and polish floors Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruits
