Responsibilities Tasks Read plans, drawings and sketches to determine job requirements Prepare layouts using measuring tools while taking into account building code requirements Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood, particleboard, light steel or other materials Erect foundations, install floor beams, lay floor covering support, assemble pre-fabricated framing and roofing elements Adjust and install windows, doors, stairs and hardware Establish work schedule for construction sites and supervise execution Train apprentices Supervise other workers Maintain, repair and renovate residential and wooden structures in factories, mines, hospitals, industrial facilities and other establishments Supervisor Functions and Activities 1 to 2 person(s)
