Automotive dent removal technician

Responsibilities Tasks Clean and maintain the work area Replace front-end elements and vehicle automobile box components, doors, chassis elements and undercarriage File, grind and sand surfaces to be repaired Mask and tape automotive surfaces in preparation for painting Unbend body elements using wooden blocks and hammers Remove damaged bumpers, panels and grilles and bolt or weld replacement parts in place Apply primer paints and repaint surfaces Repair or replace interior cabin elements Mix paint and match colors Use welding equipment or filler plastic to level holes, dents and joints Straighten chassis using pulling equipment and chassis and undercarriage anchoring equipment

Qualifications Credentials (certificates, permits, affiliations, courses, etc.) Dent Repair Technician qualification certificate
