Responsibilities

Tasks

Clean and disinfect items such as mesh screens, carts and garbage disposals in dishwashers Fill bins and trays used to clear tables Use a dishwasher to wash dishes, glasses and utensils Store dishes in designated locations Replenish condiments and other items on tables and in service areas Disinfect dishes and other items and wash them by hand Record quantities of food used in logs Wrap take-out food Divide food into portions and wrap them Prepare and heat simple dishes Serve food to customers at the counter or at the buffet table Fill refrigerators and salad bars Take customer orders Clean and disinfect the kitchen, work stations, cabinets, storage areas and equipment Handle cleaning products and store them Receive, unpack and store provisions in refrigerators, freezers, cabinets and other storage Dispose of waste and garbage and empty trash cans Sweep, wipe, wash, wax and polish floors Required
