Responsibilities Tasks
Supervise personnel (apprentices, stage assistants, design team, etc.)
Assign tasks to sales staff
Hire, train or delegate personnel training
Provide courses of interest and professional development

Plan and prepare exhibitions and permanent, temporary or removable installations in museums, trade shows, congresses, commercial spaces and for other demonstrations
Order merchandise
Authorize merchandise returns
Establish work schedules
Sell merchandise
Prepare reports on sales figures, merchandising techniques and personnel-related issues
Resolve problems that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Organize and maintain an up-to-date inventory
