Responsibilities Tasks
- Establish methods to comply with work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and distribute food
- Ensure staff training regarding their tasks, hygiene, and safety standards
- Estimate ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation
- Hire food service personnel
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and evaluate costs
- Address customer complaints and respond to their concerns
- Maintain records of inventory, repairs, sales, and losses
- Write and submit reports
- Prepare food supply lists for the chef
